The Kossuth County Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board is composed of seven (7) members, one from each of the Kossuth County, IA supervisor Districts, one Supervisor, and a representative of Kossuth Regional Health Center.

The purpose of the Kossuth County Emergency Medical Service Advisory Board is to ensure that all citizens and visitors of Kossuth County, IA have access to emergency medical services meeting the minimum standard set forth by the state of Iowa and/or Kossuth County Ordinance.

Through this page we hope to provide citizens of Kossuth County, IA detailed information and references that are being reviewed by this Board.

Advisory Board Terms:
Of the commissioners appointed initially to the regional emergency medical services authority, commissioner 1 shall be appointed for a term of one year, commissioner 2 for a term of two years, commissioner 3 for a term of three years, commissioner 4 for a term of four years and commissioner 5 for a term of five years. Thereafter all members shall be appointed for a term of five years. The other two (Kossuth Regional Health Center and Board of Supervisors) shall be reappointed every two years.
